30-second answer: Reddit is good for finding questions and bad for proving anything. Use threads to build a list of things to check, then check them on the vendor's own pages.
How to read a vendor thread
- Check the date. Old threads describe old policies.
- Ignore claims you cannot test, like how a product made someone feel.
- Look for reproducible details: shipping time, how an order was handled, whether a report matched.
- Note any account that only ever posts about one vendor.
What to verify on the vendor's own site
- Lab report for your batch, matched to the batch number.
- Shipping terms: Canada only, Canada Post, 2 to 3 business days quoted at checkout.
- Final sale terms, which the vendor states in its FAQ.
